Math Instructor

Job Description:

This is a unique teaching opportunity offering the challenge to re-engage students in their education.

  • Instruct mathematics to students grades 9-12, four classes per day
  • Assume role of advisor to assigned group of students

Job Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Master degree preferred
  • SEI endorsement (or ability to earn endorsement within one year of employment)
  • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
  • Experience and/or knowledge in working with students, staff and faculty of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, including those with different levels of academic preparation and varying physical and learning abilities.

Special Education Instructor

Position Type: Full-time

Job Description:

This position is responsible to serve in the role of Special EducationTeacher to co-teach in high school inclusion classes as well as ensure accurate reporting and consistent implementation of individual student education plans. In addition, this position will be expected to modify academic curriculum, conduct independent assessments, and provide individual and classroom support to student and classroom teachers as direct service for 9-12 grade students from diverse backgrounds. The special education teacher will be a full-time participant in and contributor to the program’s planning, development and implementation. This position reports to the Executive Director.

Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years related teaching/direct service experience and MA Teacher License in Special Needs or a Degree in Special Education.
  • Experience in elementary and/or middle/high school special education.
  • Knowledge and experience in special education inclusion and resource model
  • Experience and/or knowledge in working with students, staff and faculty of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, including those with different levels of academic preparation and varying physical and learning abilities.
